Rhythm + Waves Portugal 2026 Referral Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

2. Eligibility

• Open to entrants aged 18 years or over.
• Open to residents worldwide, excluding employees, contractors or immediate family members of Malachite PRT, Unipessoal LDA, or affiliated companies.
• The promoter reserves the right to reject entries that are incomplete, fraudulent or generated through automated means.

3. How to Enter

• To enter, participants must complete the Rhythm + Waves Portugal 2026 sign-up form via https://www.rhythmandwaves.com/.
• After signing up, entrants will receive a unique referral link.
• Every valid sign-up completed using this link counts as one (1) competition entry.
• There is no limit to the number of referrals an entrant may generate.
• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
• The competition closes at 23:59 GMT on 3 December 2025.
• Entries received after this time will not be included in the draw.

4. Prize Details

Grand Prize:

• 2 x VIP Upgrades for Rhythm + Waves Portugal 2026
• €200 wristband credit (total amount)

Prize Conditions:

• VIP upgrades apply to existing or future ticket purchases but do not include festival entry tickets.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash alternative.
• The promoter may substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

• The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date.
• The draw will be conducted within 30 days of the competition closing.
• The winner will be contacted via the email supplied upon entry.
• If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
• Prize redemption details will be sent directly to the winner via email.

6. Prize Redemption

• VIP upgrades and wristband credit must be redeemed at Rhythm + Waves Portugal 2026 only.
• Full redemption instructions will be provided prior to the festival.
• Prizes cannot be exchanged, refunded, transferred to another person, or rolled to another year.

7. Data Protection

• Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and contacting the winner.
• Data will be processed in accordance with the Rhythm + Waves Privacy Policy.
• By entering, participants consent to these uses.

8. Publication of Winners

• The promoter may publish the winner’s first name and country of residence on official Rhythm + Waves channels.
• Entrants may opt out of this by notifying the promoter at the time of acceptance.

9. Right to Withhold or Withdraw Prize

The promoter reserves the right to withhold or withdraw the prize if:

• The competition is materially affected by circumstances beyond the promoter’s control
• The winner is found to be ineligible or in breach of these Terms and Conditions
• Fraudulent, invalid or manipulated entries are identified
• The festival or relevant prize elements cannot be fulfilled for reasons outside the promoter’s control

In such cases, the promoter may cancel the prize, substitute it, or choose an alternative winner at its discretion.

10. General

• The promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
• All decisions made by the promoter are final and binding.
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.

Rhythm + Waves Portugal 2026 Instagram Line Up Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

2. Eligibility

• Open to entrants aged 18 years or over.
• Open to residents worldwide, excluding employees, contractors or immediate family members of Malachite PRT, Unipessoal LDA, or affiliated companies.
• A valid Instagram account is required.
• The competition is hosted on the official Rhythm + Waves Instagram account @rhythmandwaves.
• Duplicate, fake or bot entries may be removed.
  
  

3. How to Enter

To enter, participants must complete all of the following actions on the official @rhythmandwaves Instagram page:

1. Tag the mates you are bringing in the comments of the official Rhythm + Waves 2026 Phase 1 Line Up post
2. Sign up via the link in the @rhythmandwaves bio
3. Follow @rhythmandwaves on Instagram

Each comment tagging friends counts as one entry. Participants may submit multiple comments and enter as many times as they like, provided all other entry steps have been completed.

All steps must be completed for a valid entry.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

The competition runs from the moment the line up post goes live until 11:59AM GMT on 2 December 2025. Entries received after this time will not be counted.

4. Prize Details

Grand Prize:

• 4 x VIP Tickets for Rhythm + Waves Portugal 2026
• €400 wristband credit (total amount)

Prize Conditions:

• Tickets are valid for Rhythm + Waves Portugal 2026 only.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and have no cash alternative.
• The promoter may substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if required.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

• The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries after the competition closes.
• The draw will take place shortly after 12:00pm GMT on 2 December 2025.
• The winner will be publicly announced at 6pm GMT on 2 December 2025 on the official @rhythmandwaves Instagram page.
• The promoter may publicly announce the winner before receiving a response so that event timelines can be met.
• The winner will also receive an Instagram Direct Message from the official @rhythmandwaves account.
• The winner must respond within 4 hours of receiving this message.
• If the winner does not respond in time or is unable to accept the prize, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner and announce an update.

6. Prize Redemption

• Ticket delivery and wristband credit instructions will be provided directly to the winner, prior to the festival.
• Prizes cannot be exchanged, refunded, transferred to another person or rolled to another year.

7. Data Protection

• Personal data will only be used for administering the competition and contacting the winner.
• Data will be processed in accordance with the Rhythm + Waves Privacy Policy.
• By entering, participants agree to these terms.

8. Publication of Winner

• The promoter may publish the winner’s Instagram handle and public profile picture, as visible on Instagram at the time of the draw.
• Entrants consent to this by entering.
• Winners may request anonymisation (for example first name only) after responding to the promoter.

9. Right to Withhold or Withdraw Prize

The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or substitute the prize if:

• The winner is ineligible
• Entries are fraudulent or manipulated
• The winner fails to respond within the required timeframe
• Operational circumstances require a redraw
• The festival or prize cannot be fulfilled for reasons outside the promoter’s control

The promoter may cancel the prize, substitute it or select another winner. The promoter’s decision is final.

• Internet access and a valid email address are required to enter.

3. How to Enter

• Complete the Rhythm and Waves Community Insight Survey available at:

• The prize draw opens on 17/12/25 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 23/12/25.

• Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the draw.

4. Prize Details

• 1 x Prize: €500 drinks credit to be used at Rhythm and Waves 2026.

• The prize is non-transferable and has no cash alternative.

• The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

• The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date.
